Q Some of our wedding guests won't know each other – how can we encourage them to mingle?
A CherryTop says: CherryTop Weddings are the only UK provider of wedding favour activity booklets containing games, quizzes and puzzles personalised around the wedding couple. Reimagining what wedding favours can be, the unique activity booklets, priced at just £3.50 each, are the ultimate wedding reception ice breaker.

The company has recently announced a new range of designs to reflect the predicted wedding trends for 2023 incorporating the watercolour floral trend in the new Meadow design, the Art Deco-inspired look in the Eternal design and the simple, minimalist theme echoed in the Infinite design. This change is accompanied by an upgraded website providing couples with a smoother journey through the wedding favour creation process.

Following its launch in 2020, the Cornish company has received high acclaim including Regional Highly Commended in the Wedding Special Touch of the Year Category at the 2022 Wedding Industry Awards, alongside a five-star rating on Trust Pilot, Facebook and Google Reviews.

Alex Ridd, general manager of CherryTop Weddings, said, "I'm delighted that CherryTop Weddings feature as part of many couples' special day. We love to hear that our booklets are such a unique and memorable component of their wedding; it is often the little touches which get remembered as they allow couples to express their own identities. We build a great relationship with our customers and are delighted to have released a new range of designs for the future couples of 2023, which will be a bumper year of marriages due to the delays from previous years' disruptions. We hope that everyone is as excited as we are!"

Q How can we pick wedding favours that will suit our theme and our guests?
A Simon Daukes says: Wedding favours are traditionally small presents that the couple gift their guests as a thank you for attending the wedding. These special souvenirs need to be all-inclusive for couples, singles and children and typically include a thank you card, gift certificates, sweets or flowers but you can be as creative as you wish. Why not consider little pouches of candy for the kids or personalised favours that guests will love to use at home?

Make sure your chosen favours fit in with the colour theme of your wedding and decide whether you want them to be edible or decorative. Would you like to give seasonal favours, for example sunscreen or flip-flops for a beach wedding or hand-picked flowers with a printed selfie and hand-written message for a country affair? Other quirky ideas include playing cards, glass charms, fridge magnets and coasters.

Set a realistic budget - you don't need to spend a lot of money to make your guests happy with DIY options such as hand-painted personalised coffee cups or mugs, hand-crafted scented soaps, mini plants and homemade pickle or jam.

On an edible note, other tasty treats include cute cookies, spices and cocktail-making kits. Seasonal favours can include mince pies for a winter wedding or beach balls for a summer soiree!
