This beautifully scenic 32-acre private country estate in North Devon offers the perfect backdrop for an intimate wedding. The summer house is licensed for romantic elopement weddings, as well as small ceremonies with up to four guests.

During the winter months, it's warmed by a log fire and surrounded by candlelight creating a wonderfully atmospheric and cosy space to say, "I do!" Opportunities for peaceful moments in nature are around every corner – from wildflower meadows and a lantern-lit woodland walk, to a hot tub cabin, a secluded wood-fired sauna, and two private lakes (including one ideal for wild swimming). Guests can also enjoy a traditional barbecue house for all-weather al fresco dining, and nature trails where they might even bump into a friendly alpaca or two.

Dog-friendly weddings are welcome too! "Just the Two of Us" packages start from £899 for two, including a two-night mini moon in the five-star gold-rated Pulley Mill, a wedding ceremony in the summer house, a bottle of fizz (or a non-alcoholic alternative), and a dedicated wedding coordinator (registrar fees not included). Up to four guests can attend the ceremony from £50 per person, including a celebratory glass of bubbles. Optional extras such as photography, pampering treatments, a cream tea or private dining can be added to create a truly personalised celebration.

Located on the second floor, Pulley Mill features high oak-beamed ceilings and stunning views across the estate. Once part of an old Corn Mill, many of the original workings are still visible. The spacious bedroom includes a king-size bed beneath an apex ceiling, perfect for stargazing with the Galaxy Star projector. The kitchen – with galleried balustrade balcony – is full of character, while the bathroom features a striking blue wall and a luxurious bath. The open-plan lounge/dining room boasts a beautiful window seat with sweeping countryside views.

Hidden within the grounds of Millbrook Estate, Tree Top Escape is a luxurious treetop hideaway and a unique wedding venue perched above the trees of North Devon. It features 'The Nest' – a stunning glass-fronted ceremony space ideal for intimate weddings with up to 14 cherished guests – linked to the treehouse accommodation by a romantic wooden walkway.
