Unplugged, the UK's original digital detox escape, launches first Cornwall Cabin

Unplugged - the UK's original digital detox escape has launched its newest cabin and first in Cornwall called Elsa. It's also the first to feature an outdoor hot tub, aligning with the growing wellness travel trend and consumer demand.

On arrival, guests are asked to lock their phone away in a lockbox for 72 hours (an old school Nokia phone is provided for emergencies). This is the scientifically proven, optimum time required to reap the wellbeing benefits of a digital detox, which includes better sleep, reduced anxiety and reduced stress levels, sharpened focus and productivity plus improved mood and human connection.

Digital detoxes continue to be a huge wellness x travel trend, and Unplugged saw 90%+ occupancy across all cabins in 2024 and is on track to grow from 32 to 60 UK locations by the end of this year.
