Newquay's independent travel agents are national winners

Newquay's local independent and family-run travel agents L&K Travel are national winners of The TUI Community Hero Award. Jessica Gardener, director of Cornish-based L&K Travel said, "We want to thank every single person in our fantastic community for coming together and making this possible. Without the generous donations, support and motivation from you all, we wouldn't have achieved what we did. We want to thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts."

L&K Travel are holding an event on the 1st of June 2025 from 11 am until 3 pm on the Killacourt, Newquay. There will be more than 18 tour operators in attendance and a charity raffle, free coffee and ice cream, bouncy castles, a bar and garden games. In addition to raising lots of money for a local charity - The Hugs Foundation – the event will also celebrate being named the Tui Community Hero Champion travel agency across the whole of the United Kingdom & Ireland.
