Book a feel-good Cornish mini-moon that benefits a charity and community initiative

With more people than ever looking to make ethical purchasing decisions, Pitchup.com has come up with a great selection of outdoor holidays which have the added benefit of helping a good cause. From propping up a community pub to aiding former seafarers, giving the guides a helping hand and boosting a football club's youth section, they've sought out the budget holidays that offer the feel-good factor. Mousehole Camping is located in the grounds of a friendly and progressive non-league football club in the Cornish village of Paul, near Penzance. All of the camping fees go back into Mousehole AFC, including support to more than 150 youngsters in the youth development section.

The clubhouse is open for pasties and pints, with a pool table and table football available for guests’ use. This family site is five minutes drive from stunning Mousehole harbour, the South West Coast Path and St Ives Bay Line are nearby, it’s a 25-minute drive from Land's End, and 20 minutes from top surfing spots.

Price: Electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitches start at £20 per night for two people.

Elsewhere in Cornwall, Stithians Lake Campsite near Redruth and Tamar Lakes Campsite near Bude are both run by not-for-profit South West Lakes, along with Roadford Lake Campsite in Devon. Non-electric grass pitches start at £15 per night.
