Three Mile Beach in St Ives has introduced Seafront Feasting experience
Hidden among the golden dunes of Gwithian, this award-winning coastal collection of 15 luxury beach houses in the heart of West Cornwall celebrates the region's abundance of fresh produce and allows food lovers to experience the region's thriving gastronomic scene away from the busy summer crowds. Guests will be greeted with a traditional Cornish cream tea and a hamper of fine local produce on arrival. Dinner will be enjoyed in the outdoor open-air restaurant serving Cornish takes on street food favourites paired with locally distilled gins, fine ales, creative cocktails and soft drinks. Guests can also opt for an exclusive private chef experience in the comfort of their beach house, choosing from a five-course tasting menu or a Three Mile Feast.
On day two, breakfast will be enjoyed at the Godrevy Beach Café followed by a guided foraging tour with award-winning author, cook and tutor Rachel Lamber. Guests will use their foraged ingredients in a 'Cook & Eat' immersive cooking class in their beach house with local chef Rupert Cooper.
Gin-lovers can opt to try their hand at a two-hour distilling masterclass at Tarquin's Gin School while sea lovers can enjoy a family-friendly mackerel fishing trip or a full-day private tour with Blue Fin Charters. Surf lessons and coasteering sessions can be arranged, along with bodyboard, surfboard and wetsuit hire.
Back on the wrap-around terrace at the beach house, complete with sunken cedar-wood hot tub and barrel sauna, visitors will enjoy an evening of pizza-making using the Ooni pizza oven and DIY pizza kit.Prices start at £435 per person, based on six people sharing a three-bedroom beach house for three nights.
