Cuckoo Down Farm in West Hill, Devon, is set to reopen on 4th July 2020 and are offering one lucky couple who have gone the extra mile during lockdown the opportunity to win a wedding at the venue in 2021 or 2022 with their Win a Wedding at Cuckoo Down Farm competition. The wedding package is worth £1,500, is subject to availability and excludes dates in the school holidays and bank holidays. This glamping and holiday site, and new wedding venue, is located near the World Heritage Coastline at Sidmouth in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by 30 acres of unspoilt meadows and a three-acre oak and bluebell wood with a stream running through it where deer, badgers and owls can frequently be spotted. The farm is home to four beautifully decorated safari lodges and two yurts – ideal for wedding guests. Facilities include hot showers, wood-burning stoves and cosy sofas, rugs and double beds and the newest safari lodge called Blackberry features a private wood-fired hot tub.

The site can be exclusively booked for a wedding for up to 170 guests in total and includes (but is not limited to) access from 4 pm on Friday until 10 am on Monday for weekend weddings; glamping for up to 36 guests; additional camping and campervan sites and parking available for all guests; the wedding glade in the woods decorated with hay bales for the ceremony; a farm tractor and trailer ride for the couple, and no corkage charges.
