Saturday 20th June 2020 will see the Great Hall at Exeter University transformed into a wine wonderland for The Three Wine Men South West Wine Festival with a Splash of Spirits (plus other delicious West Country drinks) in partnership with the South West Wine School. It's a fun day out for hen and stag celebrations, or for couples to sample and choose their big-day drinks.
It will be hosted by the legendary Oz Clarke OBE, the Sunday Telegraph's drinks' expert Susy Atkins and, the new face to watch on the wine scene, Tom Surgey.
This tasting extravaganza is being brought to the West Country for the very first time. It will showcase an incredible array of both international and local wines and spirits to try, alongside other leading drinks and food highlights from the region.
There are two tastings available to book during the day from 1 - 4pm or 5 - 8pm.
Susy Atkins, one of the three wine superstars participating, lives just outside Exeter. Susy says, "The Three Wine Men events are hugely popular all around the country and, so far, the West Country has been missing out. It's so exciting for this event to be taking place this summer in my home town. It really is the wine tasting to attend this year."
Oz, Susy and Tom will be on hand to discuss some of the top tipples. Guests can grab a glass and move from table to table to taste, and purchase, the hundreds of wines, spirits and other local drinks on offer. They will be mingling with the visitors to answer questions and give recommendations.
There'll also be various masterclasses and gourmet goodies to try, along with special offers exclusive to the show. Visitors will recieve a complimentary fabric wine bag with any purchase. Note that a separate ticket is needed for each masterclass
