This historic Napoleonic fort located on a Cornish clifftop overlooking the sweeping Whitsand Bay offers exclusive use for extended weddings. It boasts pretty gardens, ideal for outdoor games, and its own private beach. A sweeping stone walled garden reveals indigenous plants as well as bright flower displays throughout the year including spring bulbs and vibrant poppies. The Mediterranean garden situated on the roof terrace; the New Zealand garden located behind the fort and the living wildflower wall on the lower lawn are also great spots for photo opportunities.

It's home to a dry moat and drawbridge and has been sympathetically and creatively restored with a large Napoleonic hall to accommodate ceremonies and receptions of up to 120 loved ones. A smaller, more intimate reception room known as the Emperor Suite is also available for a small gathering of up to 35 guests.
Ceremonies also take place in the summerhouse for up to 120 guests overlooking the sea, and new for 2020 is a hand-crafted oak summerhouse for the ceremony. There's accommodation for up to 24 guests across the light and spacious bedrooms, all furnished with luxurious linens and comfortable beds.

Couples have the freedom to design their wedding day exactly how they want it, from garden games on the sweeping lawn to an outdoor barbecue.

We love... that couples can use suppliers of their choice and that there isn't a corkage fee.
