The Grain Store, Kingsbridge, Devon

inside venue with trestle tables and floral decor

The Grain Store is a new wedding and party venue set in the heart of Devon on the site of a traditional English farm, offering complete privacy, accessed via a tree-lined drive, and boasting sea views across Start Bay.
After sitting empty for years, the barn has been lovingly transformed into the perfect wedding location able to host up to 200 guests. It boasts a dancefloor, stylish bar, cartwheel chandeliers, soft up-lighting, silk parachutes strung from the ceiling and fairylights scattered throughout, creating a magical, romantic ambience. Hire of The Grain Store includes exclusive-use from the Friday to the Monday allowing couples time to style it, plus accommodation at the farmhouse, a five-star, seven-bedroom house featuring luxury interiors that sleeps up to fourteen wedding guests.

Ceremonies take place in The Grain Store itself for up to 200 guests seated, or a blessing can be held in the tranquil garden adjoining the farmhouse, that's bordered by old stone walls and has a south-facing stone terrace with steps leading down into the garden. There's also the option of a ceremony in the idyllic field located close to the beach, again for up to 200 loved ones.

Receptions can take place in a marquee here in this field, with the capacity varying, depending on the choice of the marquee. Alternatively, The Grain Store can also be used for a reception for up to 200 loved ones.

We love... the neutral layout and style, allowing guests to add a personal touch and the list of recommended local wedding suppliers that the venue provides, although couples can use whoever they wish.
