Barn at Higher Holcombe
The Old Dairy is the heart of the Higher Holcombe venue and is a recently renovated milking parlour. With rustic wooden beams and neutral colours - it is the perfect blank canvas for you to decorate as you wish.
There are gorgeous countryside views through the glazed south-facing doors. You can see the stretch tent (great for wet weather ceremonies) and beyond that - the cool chill-out fire pit area. The whole area is lit up at night with festoon lighting. Great for romantic ambience!
Destination Weddings
Wedding Guest Accommodation
As well as the quirky 'Hobbit House' honeymoon suite, there is accommodation for up to another 40 guests - so perfect for a wedding mini-break or indeed, a destination wedding!
Higher Holcombe also offers a spacious and modern farmhouse which sleeps 10 in 5 double bedrooms. This is perfect for the main wedding party - and if you are a bridesmaid, you will love getting ready here!
As well, there are 6 Lotus Belle glamping tents and 2 Shepherd's Huts - with a little more luxury than the glamping tents.
Unique and unusual venues
Unique Outside Ceremony Spaces
Our unique hill-top willow 'cathedral' was specially planted with 3 'chapels' and with gentle Devon countruside views, is the most stunning place to hold an outdoor ceremony.
For a more intimate wedding, choose the silver birch 'church' hidden in one of our woodland glades. With rows of elegant silver-bark birch trees, this also makes a lovely place for a prosecco reception or to serve a picnic or brunch.
The funky stretch tent is our 'wet weather' plan. This is Englans, after all!

This venue prides itself on being 'the opposite of corporate'. There are no set rules about 'the way things are done here'. . .as they want every wedding to be unique to each couple - and to reflect their personalities and interests.
If you choose this venue - it is likely that your focus is on having a relaxed countryside venue - with fresh modern facilities (in the Old Dairy barn), maturing woodland glades and unique oudoor ceremony spaces.

Stretch Tent for Chillin' Out In
Our cool stretch tent is also perfect as a wet weather back up plan for you to hold an outside ceremony - even if the weather is a bit grizzly.
Best case scenario - the weather is bliss and you can use this for an extra chill out space in the shade!
On the theme of tents - our 5 HUGE (6M diameter) Lotus Belles are the main stay of our glamping venue - they sleep 22 in total - and if you need more accommodation - we offer 'over flow' camping.
