With Easter almost upon us, this feels like it’s going to be an eggcellent year! Not only can we look forward to this spring break (and all the tasty treats that it offers), we have the extra bank holiday in May to look forward to for The Coronation of His Majesty The King. Why not take advantage of all of this time off and book an extended wedding weekend to enjoy a few days of celebrations, as Jess and Ed did on page 26? Alternatively, you could plan a mini-moon in Devon or Cornwall, or a pre-wedding break away. New Continental Hotel, Plymouth
The New Continental Hotel in Plymouth is a grand Victorian building marrying traditional Art Deco details with modern elements. Inside, the glamorous vintage décor and romantic, classic style make it the perfect setting for a timeless wedding.
Ceremonies and receptions usually take place in the Green Room for up to 50 guests and the Athena Room for up to 150 loved ones plus there’s the stylish Executive Room holding up to 100 people.
Receptions can take place in the Athena Room and the Green Room and also in the beautiful Ballroom for up to 250 loved ones with its statement chandeliers, own bar and dancefloor.
