Devonshire-based bridal hair stylist Hannah Fisher shares her top tips for creating the perfect up do ahead of the summer wedding season. "Firstly, choose a style that will lend itself to looking fuller, generally this will be a softer style that includes curls or waves and will give the illusion of the hair having more volume than a style that's straight or tightly woven in to a bun or a ponytail. Consider clip in extensions which don't just add length to hair when it's worn down, they can be a great help for adding volume to a style worn up, creating a full bun or mass of pinned up curls. Make sure you buy real hair extensions because synthetic ones cannot be heat styled and won't look realistic. I suggest the half head extensions from Sally's because short and medium strips are much easier to pin in and conceal. Hair doughnuts can be placed in hair with it styled over and around them creating a great base shape that will give the illusion of having lots of thick hair. They are also very comfortable to wear. Backcombing is a great way to create volume and make hair appear much thicker than it really is. Spray a product to the roots first like the Texturising Volume Spray by label.m and then backcomb it to create a long-lasting, full look."
