Professional beauty therapist Cathy Procter, owner of Beauty by Cathy, offers her advice on wedding day wellbeing

Professional beauty therapist Cathy Procter, owner of Beauty by Cathy, offers her advice on wedding day wellbeing: Image 1 There are many different decisions and choices to make leading up to a wedding and this can often leave brides feeling a bit frazzled.

During the planning stages, it's important to remember that health and wellbeing is so important and brides must plan in some much needed 'me time'.

Bridal beauty isn't just about skincare, make-up and hair – it's about feeling good from within.

Finding a local masseuse is key because regular massage will not only reduce stress and anxiety, it will boost circulation and improve the quality of sleep whilst promoting relaxation throughout the entire body. The increased circulation will give skin a natural glow as the cells are nourished.

There are many different types of massages to choose from. A deep tissue one is great for alleviating tension in the neck and shoulders whilst an aromatherapy one using a blend of different oils is perfect for relaxation throughout the wedding preparations. Sports massage is good for more athletic brides and finally, Indian head massage is soothing and helps with tension headaches.
