Upton Barn & Walled Garden is based in Cullompton, Devon and is a wedding venue highlight in the latest issue of Your Devon & Cornwall Wedding magazine, issue 23, on sale now!
This privately owned, exclusive-use wedding venue is nestled in 160 acres of organic farmland in the heart of the Devonshire countryside. The traditional old buildings and walled garden have been transformed into four indoor and outdoor areas for weddings offering flexibility for couples to create their dream day.
Ceremonies take place under the hand-crafted oak arbour located outside in the Walled Garden accessed via a lavender-lined aisle. Welcome drinks can also be served here and it looks romantic at dusk, lit up with festoon lighting.
Inside, the Cider Barn is an alternative ceremony spot and the ideal space for the evening reception, while the newly built Stable Barn seats up to 156 for a wedding breakfast and the Press Bar offers a relaxed environment for post-dinner drinks.
