Laura Connolly, 32, married Greg Gooding, 34, at Trevenna Barns in St Neot in Cornwall on 4th June, 2018.
Being a wedding florist, I knew how I wanted the room at Trevenna to look as soon as I walked in. We suspended an oak beam from the ceiling in the centre of the room and draped it with flowers, rustic light bulbs and small gold frames showing photographs of the loved ones who couldn't be with us on the day to celebrate.
Our favours were small bottles of pink gin, with a personalised label added to each one.
Our table plan and table names were made using acrylic with gold script writing. We named the tables after all the places that we found and loved in Cornwall when searching for our venue.
We loved our venue as soon as we first visited it.
We opted for a mixture of high and low table centrepieces.
We had a stunning display of flowers mixed with foliage on our top table.
We had an outdoor ceremony, so Greg's dad made us an entrance to the aisle using painted doors with a beam across the top draped in flowers. Later in the day, we moved these indoors, and they became the backdrop for the photo booth.
Our stunning four-tier cake was decorated with fresh flowers.
I wore a dress called Edith by Pronovias. It had an overskirt that I removed after the ceremony, which made me feel like I had two dresses which was great!
Our bridesmaids wore dresses in different styles and colours. This gave me the inspiration for our colour palette. They wore gold leaf hairpins to match my headpiece.
I teamed my dress with a two-tier, chapel-length veil, a hair vine and beautiful T-bar shoes.
Our photo booth included a prop box and instax camera.
Greg wore a stylish linen jacket, while our groomsmen teamed waistcoats with black trousers. I ordered a variety of ties and bow ties in our chosen colour scheme for them to pick from.
Our eldest son gave me away on our wedding day. That was a moving moment. There were lots of tears, and I was brimming with pride.
We gave our guests sparklers to use in the evening, which our photographer, Laura, expertly captured on camera.
Our three sons all wore identical waistcoats and ties. We gifted them personalised pocket watches on the morning of our wedding.
Greg's four best men gave the most memorable speech, turning it into a game show whilst wearing gold sequin jackets! All of our guests got involved and loved it.
