November/December 2020

I love this time of year, not only because I am a magpie who loves anything that sparkles, but because it’s an opportunity for me to create a magazine full of seasonal splendour! Whether you’re putting the finishing touches to a micro wedding this winter (our hot topic feature is all about small, intimate celebrations), or planning a larger affair for next Christmas (in which case our snow stoppers venue feature is a must-read), it’s always fun for me to compile our end-of-year issue. I asked some of my favourite wedding photographers in both regions to send me their much-loved winter wedding images which are revealed in our snap happy feature, and I also spoke to the talented designers in our handmade in Devon and Cornwall feature about their bespoke wedding creations.

There’s also glittery accessories, fairytale wedding dresses, fashionable groomswear and big-day beauty, along with much more, so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did compiling it, and I’ll see you next year.

Until then...

Brickhouse Vineyard

This intimate and affordable wedding venue is situated in a tranquil location just 20 minutes from Exeter offering panoramic vistas sweeping across the Devon countryside. It features stunning outdoor spaces such as the vineyard, organic gardens and the beautifully landscaped terrace offering an ‘aisle’ pathway for couples leading through the wildflower meadow to the ceremony room inside the recently renovated, 18th-century thatched Round House.

This unique structure sits at the beating heart of the property and boasts a hexagon-shaped roof that has been restored to its former glory. It has been adapted in design to create the perfect space for small weddings and provides exclusive use for intimate celebrations.
