I love the start of the wedding season, from the glamorous dresses to the decorative décor, and this year more than ever I can’t wait to see how couples will be choosing to celebrate as we emerge from lockdown. Some will be planning large affairs while others will have decided on intimate, micro weddings.

Whatever you choose, if you’re getting married in Devon or Cornwall this summer then this action-packed issue offers everything you need, from real-life couples offering wow-factor inspiration to venue styling and catering ideas. There’s also fabulous fashion, big-day beauty, news and offers, plus expert advice from talented local wedding suppliers. Remember to get in touch via our social channels with your real weddings and if you’re saying your vows a little later this year then I’ll see you next issue!

Beacon Crag

This magnifi cent wedding venue is a private house built in 1887 perched high on the cliffs of Cornwall’s South Coast, just a twominute drive from the picturesque harbour town of Porthleven.

Beacon Crag sits on five acres of private grounds with it’s own private access to the coastal path and rocky coves below. The terraced garden, with lawns sweeping down to the sea, is the ideal location for admiring the breathtaking scenery.

This interesting property is filled with plenty of natural light and character. Large windows reveal sea views and during winter, the fireplace creates a cosy feel. The beautiful en-suite bedrooms all feature uninterrupted ocean views. Ceremonies take place in the Ceremony Room located at the front of the house overlooking the ocean for a maximum of up to 15 guests while the wedding breakfast and evening reception takes place in a marquee outside on one of the terraces for up to 100 loved ones for the wedding breakfast, and up to 200 people gathered for the party after.
