This early part of the new year always makes me smile. The excitement of Christmas has paved the way for Valentine’s Day, with all the cute cards and gifts appearing in store. Whether you’re putting the finishing touches to a February wedding or are simply shopping for a celebration later in the year, it’s a great time to collect some love-themed trinkets.
Love is in the air in our real wedding section (page 34), and our beautiful styled shoots offer inspiration for many different themes (page 52). There’s also an action-packed fashion section (page 76) and Insta-worthy honeymoon destinations (page 94).

Upton Barn & Walled Garden
This privately owned, exclusive-use wedding venue is nestled in 160 acres of organic farmland in the heart of the Devonshire countryside. Recently redeveloped, the traditional old buildings and walled garden have been transformed into four indoor and outdoor areas for weddings offering flexibility for couples to create their dream day.
Ceremonies take place under the hand-crafted oak arbour located outside in the Walled Garden accessed via a lavender-lined aisle. A drinks reception can also take place here, and it looks romantic at dusk lit up with festoon lighting.
Inside, the Cider Barn is an alternative ceremony spot and the ideal space for the evening reception, while the newly built Stable Barn seats up to 156 for a wedding breakfast and the Press Bar offers a relaxed environment for post-dinner drinks.
