Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - Page number 78 - May/June 2021 (Issue 31)

LUSCIOUS LOCKS Now that restrictions are lifting and we can start planning our late-summer outdoor wedding, please can you tell me what styles are trending for bridal hair? I need some inspiration! Meet the expert: Toni Gogola is a bridal and occasion hair stylist based in South Devon. She offers a bespoke mobile service throughout Devon and Cornwall. Toni says: This wedding season promises to be extremely busy for me and I’m excited to be getting back to doing what I love! From following the current trends and catwalks, I can see low braided buns teamed with textured crowns being a highlight this year. This bohemian, romantic look is one of my favourites because it suits all hair types, colours and lengths. There are plenty of tips and tricks that I can use to add length, volume and texture. Working with fresh flowers in the hair is always a pleasure and I think that weddings taking place this year will see an increase in requests for other hair accessories, such as dried flower combs and pearl pins, which perfectly complement the finished look.
