YURTS FOR LIFE, THROUGHOUT BOTH REGIONS These luxury yurts guarantee a wow-factor venue option with the top- quality cream canvas structures having been precision-built in Devon with a wheel in the roof allowing the sunshine to pour in, or for guests to star-gaze at night. They’re available to hire in small, medium and large sizes for micro weddings and larger gatherings. Finishing touches are also available to hire for three days, from log burners and lighting to tables, chairs and carpets. For the wedding night, a small yurt can be furnished with a wooden bed frame and soft mattress, a duvet, pillows and Egyptian cotton linen sheets. Blankets, rugs, bedside tables, seating and mirrors are also available. While the yurts are not licensed (the premises on which they will stand need to hold a licence), the small 18-ft structure can seat up to 37 guests for an intimate ceremony while the 24-ft one can hold up to 66 loved ones, and the larger 33-ft yurt can accommodate up to 124 people standing for a large ceremony (when restrictions lift). They can hold the wedding breakfast for up to 100 guests seated, plus the evening reception, and they can be linked together to create one really large event space if requested. Ceremony licence? HAREFIELD BARN, CREDITON, DEVON This exclusive-use barn venue situated in the heart of the South Devon countryside has its own wildflower meadow with cider apple orchards close by and provides the most incredible far-flung views. The bifold doors leading out from the Main Hall and Sawpit Bar encourage guests to make the most of the extensive outdoor space which includes a paved terrace with seating provided complete with subtle external lighting and a large firepit. This terrace flows seamlessly down to the extensive lawns and adjacent cornfield, perfect for garden games and wedding portraits.
