For 2020, Country Kids are pleased to announce the launch of a new farm at the resort. The new farm will include a new sensory games area including a muddy kitchen where budding 'chefs' will be able to create mud pies, acorn cakes and stone soup as well as a sensory frame and outdoor play area for younger guests to enjoy in freedom while playing in nature.

Also on offer in 2020 are new walking trails for the whole family to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the resort, including the stunning Salagou Valley and the ruins of a 17th century castle. Parents are able to enjoy Chateau de Jonquières (a 30 minute drive from Country Kids), one of the oldest family wine estates in the Languedoc. Ever since the 12th century, it has been continuously passed down through the family.

Guests to Country Kids will be able to discover the château, its history, architecture and winery, followed by wine-tasting with the owner, Charlotte. Country Kids is renowned for providing delicious on site dining options in a relaxed setting for families and each summer, guests can experience Monday supper club experience for guests that book the "Absolutely Everything Included" package. On Monday evenings, Sylvan and Laure, the husband-and-wife owners of the resort will be showcasing a variety of the best locally sourced food and drink products at the Country Kids bar. From dry cured meats from the village to fresh oysters and regional cheeses, drinks to complement include wines made in the area, with two from the local village of Octon, which are particularly delicious. Also, home brewed beers are on offer which are always a big hit!

On each Thursday evening in July and August, guests can enjoy an evening market in Octon (just a 10 minute drive from Country Kids). Here, explorers can take a wander, sample a drink and tuck into tapas in the beautiful village centre, which the children are taken care of at Country Kids, by the dedicated babysitter.

Regarding the important topic of sustainability, Country Kids is aiming to drastically reduce its plastic waste. The family have stopped buying plastic bottles and are lucky enough to have their own spring at Country Kids which provides water for the whole resort. All apartments are equipped with a UV light sanitizer to make drinkable our tap water and are supplied with a set of reusable plastic bottles (for Parents and Kids) to use during their stay.
