Lusty Glaze Beach
Located in a private, sheltered cove on the North Cornish coast, Lusty Glaze Beach (Lusty Glaze meaning a place to view boats in the Cornish tradition) is known for its white sands, dramatic cliffs, secret caves, brilliant surf and panoramic sunsets. It epitomizes the laid-back, beach lifestyle that Cornwall has become so well known for and is the only beach in Cornwall where couples can actually marry. Recently crowned Britain's Best Beach 2017 by The Sunday Times and having been shortlisted as Best Coastal Wedding Venue in The UK Wedding Awards 2018, this sandy haven is open all year round for beach side dining, weddings and honeymoons in the self-catering accommodation available. For weddings, it offers total exclusivity meaning the entire beach can be hired solely for the use of the couple and their guests, and each wedding is tailored to the couple's needs.
Ceremonies take place overlooking the beach on The Top Deck with seating for up to 120 guests. The wedding breakfast (a beach barbecue) takes place in The Marquee, a beachfront structure seating up to 120 guests with a fully-equipped bar and views across the Atlantic. The reception is also hosted here accommodating up to 250 loved ones. There's also the option to use The Restaurant and The Beach Lounge is a new addition on the sand with giant cushions, comfy sofas and views out to sea. There's also the option for winter weddings and intimate nuptials with just a few loved ones available Monday - Wednesday from the end of March to October excluding July, August and school holidays. We love... that this little Cornish cove is horseshoe-shaped.
