Ever After, Tavistock
This quirky outdoor wedding venue is a hidden gem providing an exclusive and intimate setting for a stylish big day whatever the weather. Hidden among the trees on the edge of scenic Dartmoor and surrounded by manicured lawns and pretty flora-filled gardens, guests can enjoy playing outdoor games including giant Jenga and croquet and party under the stars come nightfall. In the event of rain, drinks and canapés can be served under the glass roof on the terrace or in the clear-walled marquee. A special sound system and starlit dancefloor provide the entertainment.
Ceremonies, including humanist ones, take place in the open-sided wedding barn that can be decorated as simply or elaborately as you wish, and both this and the reception can hold up to 120 loved ones.
The newly refurbished 18th-century honeymoon cottage with its two-person free standing bath, private wisteriacovered deck and wood burning stove is available on the night of the wedding with another self-contained one bedroom annexe with en-suite available for two additional wedding guests.
