Alice Willows, 28, married Joseph Thornton, 35, on 9th September, 2017 in Plymouth Cathedral followed by a marquee reception on the coast in Bigbury-on-Sea, South Hams, Devon.

This stylish outdoor wedding venue is a hidden gem on the edge of scenic Dartmoor surrounded by manicured lawns and pretty florafilled gardens providing an exclusive and intimate setting for a chic big day whatever the weather. Guests can enjoy playing outdoor games including Giant Jenga and croquet and party under the stars come nightfall. In the event of rain, drinks and canapés can be served under the glass roof on the terrace or in the clear-walled marquee that can also house the two brand new pop-up lounges exclusive to the venue. A special sound system and star-lit dancefloor provide the entertainment.
Ceremonies – including humanist ones – take place in the open-sided wedding barn that can be decorated as simply or elaborately as you wish, and both this, and the reception, can hold up to 120 guests.
